About 6D5N Flores and Komodo Open Trip

Open trip is a joint / shared tour for the single traveler or individual participant (non-group) in which participants join other participants in the tour schedule that has been determined from the trip organizer. This trip has a minimum and maximum number of participants. One person can join in this shared trip and the great thing about this is that you can also make new friends during your holiday. A participant who wants to follow the open trip should not seek or collect the minimum number of people in one group because of a trip organizer can merges another participants who registered into one group. Flores, a long island located between Sumbawa and Timor, is strewn with volcanoes in a mountain chain dividing it into several regions with distinctive languages and traditions, scenic beauty, good beaches and natural wonders. Meanwhile, Komodo National Park is located in the center of the Indonesian archipelago, between Sumbawa and Flores islands. Established in 1980, initially the main purpose of the Park was to conserve the unique Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) and its habitat. However, over the years, the goals for the Park have expanded to protecting its entire biodiversity, both terrestrial and marine.

"A long trip from Labuanbajo but worth it"

See my review of Komodo NP for more detail, but a special place to visit. Dragons are pretty much guaranteed, but don't expect much activity as it is extremely hot.

"Absolutely amazing!"

Seeing the dragons is an experience but the island itself is also very pretty and teeming with wildlife. Deer grace the beach in a scene that could be straight from a book. Snorkeling at Pink Beach...
