Itinerary:

  • Banyumulek Village: one of many pottery village where clay pots for daily use, unique in style and high in quality is by hand made
  • Sukarara Village: where you see a tradition of weaving in well cared. They weave gold and silver thread to be traditional Songket and Ikat cloth with very simple looms.
  • Rambitan / Sade: a traditional sasak village located on the hill, 8 km from Kuta beach of lombok. This village shows you the unique way of life of the "Sasak" the native inhabitants of Lombok.
  • Kuta Beach / Tanjung Aan: both are situated on southern coast of Lombok, just 5 kilometers apart. these white sandy beaches with clear turquoise water are perfect for swimming and sun bathing.

"Stinky seagrass, lots of trash washed up and boats belching smoke"

This beach was a disappointment. I believe you can walk to the stone structures in all the pictures but most people were opting to hire a large canoe-like boat with canopy to take them quickly...

"beautiful landscape"

Lombok surrounded with white sandy beaches.Tanjung aan located at east lombok and have a lagoon and you can see from up of the hill near the beach so bet you to see from up there

"Full of garbage"

This was the most dirty beach in my life! The dirt was swimming in the water in huge piles and the sand on the shore was also thickly covered with it. I also saw some tourists trying to clean it but...
