DAY 1 : BALIKPAPAN – TERITIP (CROCODILE FARM) – KEBUN SAYUR MARKET - HOTEL (L,D)
Upon arrival at Balikpapan Airport, meeting service with your guide then drive around 30 minutes to Teritip, the biggest crocodile farm in East Kalimantan. Currently there are more than 1,450 crocodiles are bred, consisting of estuarine crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) is the most dominant, and two rare species of crocodile, the freshwater crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis) and crocodile chopsticks (Tomistoma segellly). Thousands of crocodiles bred in dozens of cages inside the area of 5 acres. Beside seeing the procees of feeding the crocodiles, you could try the extreme culinary menu, crocodile satay. Afterwards, continue to Kebun Sayur Market to see the local people activity while looking for the souvernirs. Afternoon, check in to the hotel and free program.
DAY 2 : SUNGAI WAIN – CANOPY BRIDGE – SAMARINDA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, drive around 45 minutes to Sungai Wain Protected Forest. Trek through the forest around 3-5 hours looking for the rainforest animal. During trekking, you will find a wide variety of flora and fauna that live in the swamp. Afterwards, continue drive around 1 hour to Bukit Bangkirai (Canopy Bridge) where we can find several species of hard wooden trees and a Tree Top Hanging Bridge with a beautifull View over Kalimantan 's Hills filled with emerald Jungle. Afternoon transfer to Samarinda for 2 hours driving. Check in to the hotel. Meals will provided at local restaurant.
DAY 3 : SAMARINDA – PAMPANG DAYAK DANCE – HOTEL (B,L,D)
After breakfast, visit the traditional market to see the local people activity before visiting Pampang Village. Upon arrival at Pampang, sightseeing around the village for understanding the life of Dayak Kenyah tribe. You could see attractive dances performed by the tribe’s children, teenagers and adults. The show is performed in a Lamin or a customary home of Dayak tribe. Usually, 10 dances are performed in one show such as nyelamai sakai dance (welcome dance for guests), ajay (war dance), enggang terbang and berburu (hunting dances). The performance will started on 14.00 PM, you could also take a village tour on food in Pampang village, mostly occupied by Dayak Kenyah community. Next to Rumah Lamin theater, there is a batik gallery selling various types of Kalimantan batik while waiting for the performance to be started. Afternoon, back to Samarinda for overnight.
DAY 4 : SAMARINDA – BALIKPAPAN AIRPORT (B)
Morning check out the hotel then transfer around 3 hours to Balikpapan airport for your next destinations. Tour ends.
