"What are you after? Party? Nature? Garbage? Cheap or quality?"

Go before the beauty goes. If you are not interested in nature but loud music and cheap booze, choose Trawangan. Guaranteed you won't here the murmur of the sea from the all day party music. Sadly...

Unfortunately we only had a day to pop over to Gili T(rawangan) from Bali, but well worth a visit. Yes, the horses aren't treated well, so we didn't book one. Yes, it could be cleaner, and so on...

We should not endorse this kind of mass tourism. Gili islands do not have the infrastructures to deal with it. Plastic pollution is everywhere!! Just a disaster for marine animals. And tourists...
